A 3-day journey combining Sahara desert exploration with travel between two of Morocco's great cities. The tour drives through the spectacular Atlas Mountains, visits the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, and includes a night in a desert camp with a camel ride at sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes, before continuing north through the Ziz Valley and the Cedar Forest to finish in the imperial city of Fes.

Day 1: Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ait Benhaddou → Dades Valley
8:00 AM pickup at your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
Drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages.
Cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m).
Explore the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Ait Benhaddou.
Lunch break (own expense).
Continue through Ouarzazate, the Skoura palm oasis and the Valley of Roses.
Overnight in the Dades Valley (hotel/riad with dinner and breakfast).
Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Erfoud → Merzouga Desert
Short break at the impressive Todra Gorge.
Lunch near Tinejdad (own expense).
Pass through Erfoud, with an optional fossil workshop visit.
Arrive at the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Camel ride experience watching the sunset.
Dinner and evening music session at a luxury desert camp.
Overnight in the standard or luxury desert camp (dinner and breakfast included).
Day 3: Merzouga Desert → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes
Early morning sunrise climb on the sand dunes.
Breakfast at the camp.
Panoramic photo break at the Ziz Valley palm forest.
Visit the Barbary macaques in the Azrou cedar forest.
Pass through Ifrane.
Arrival in Fes (approx. 8-hour drive total) — end of tour.
