Day 1: Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Agdz Valley
Early morning departure from Marrakech towards the High Atlas. Cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass and admire the Berber villages perched on the mountainsides. First stop at Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its earthen alleyways and authentic kasbahs. Continue to Agdz, gateway to the Drâa Valley, where lush palm groves stretch as far as the eye can see.
Day 2: Agdz → Drâa Valley → Erg Chegaga
After a Moroccan breakfast, continue through the Drâa Valley, famous for its kasbahs and oases. Discover the authentic villages of Tamnougalt and other hamlets where time seems to have stood still. In the afternoon, head to the Chegaga desert, where endless dunes open up before you. Ride by camel to a nomad camp in the heart of the dunes. Enjoy dinner under the stars with traditional Berber songs around a campfire. Overnight in a comfortable Berber tent, surrounded by the soothing silence of the desert.
Day 3: Erg Chegaga – A day of desert immersion
Wake up at sunrise for an unforgettable spectacle over the golden dunes. After breakfast, spend a day exploring the desert: set off by jeep along the sandy tracks to discover unique landscapes. Lunch in the shade of an acacia tree while listening to the stories of nomads who share their daily life. Return to camp in the late afternoon for a second magical night in this haven of peace.
Day 4: Erg Chegaga → Foum Zguid → Ouarzazate
After breakfast under the clear desert sky, take the sand track towards Foum Zguid, crossing lunar landscapes dotted with acacia trees. Continue on to Ouarzazate, nicknamed "the gateway to the desert". On arrival, visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt and discover the film studios where legendary movies were shot. Overnight in a riad or kasbah with traditional charm.
Day 5: Ouarzazate → High Atlas → Marrakech
For this final day, take the winding roads of the High Atlas once more towards Marrakech. Along the way, enjoy stops in Berber villages to sample mint tea and meet the locals. Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon with unforgettable memories of this journey into the heart of authentic Morocco.
