Day 1: Arrive in Casablanca
Airport pickup at Mohammed V International Airport, or hotel pickup in Casablanca.
Visit the Hassan II Mosque, the third-largest mosque in the world.
Drive along the Corniche of Ain Diab, with a stop at Rick's Café.
Check in to your hotel in Casablanca.
Day 2: Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen
Explore Rabat: the Oudayas Kasbah by the Bou Regreg River, the Hassan Tower and the Mohammed V Mausoleum.
Drive through the Gharb plain towards Chefchaouen.
Explore the Blue City's painted streets, the 15th-century Kasbah and the Ras el-Ma spring.
Evening at Utta el-Hammam Square.
Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Cross the Rif Mountains.
Guided tour of the Roman ruins of Volubilis.
Explore the imperial city of Meknes: Bab Mansour gate, El-Hedim Square, the olive market, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, the royal palace walls, and the royal granaries and stables.
Drive on to Fes.
Day 4: Explore Fes → Ifrane → Midelt
Guided tour of Fes el-Bali, the oldest part of Fes and the largest car-free urban zone in the world: the Royal Palace's golden gates, the Mellah (former Jewish Quarter), the labyrinthine medina alleyways, its mosques, the Al-Qarawiyyin University and the Chouara Tanneries.
Drive through Ifrane, and the UNESCO-listed cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques.
Overnight in Midelt.
Day 5: Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert
Cross the Atlas Mountains.
Panoramic views over the Ziz Valley.
Arrive in the Sahara Desert at Merzouga.
Sunset camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Tea and pastries, dinner and a music session at a luxury desert camp.
Overnight in a private en-suite tent.
Day 6: Merzouga → Erfoud → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
Optional sunrise viewing over the dunes.
Drive via Erfoud, known for fossils and dates.
